Common questions
How do I turn on push notifications?
Open the Schedule tab and use the score-alerts prompt on the Up Next card. Allow, and you'll get a one-line notification every time the Jays score, plus a final-score recap. Quiet by default.
How do I turn them off?
iOS Settings → Notifications → Summer93 → off. Or open Summer93 → Settings → Notifications to toggle individual categories (Run Scored, Final Score).
The widget shows an old score.
Widgets refresh on a 5-minute floor, a silent push, or a manual tap. In Low Power Mode or with no connection, the floor takes over and the score can lag 2–5 minutes. Tapping the widget opens the app and forces a refresh.
Where does the editorial content come from?
Every history anchor and long-form piece is sourced from primary materials — period newspapers via the Toronto Public Library's archive, plus archival stat databases and original research. We do not mirror Baseball Reference, FanGraphs, or MLB.com lists.
Will you add my favorite team?
No. Summer93 is specifically a Toronto Blue Jays almanac — that constraint is what lets the editorial voice feel like a single beat reporter.
How do I delete my data?
Email us your device UUID (Settings → About → Device ID) and we'll remove it within 7 days. Data also auto-deletes when you uninstall the app, usually within 24 hours.
Is this affiliated with the Blue Jays or MLB?
No. Summer93 is an unofficial fan app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Major League Baseball or the Toronto Blue Jays.
