Short version

Summer93 is a baseball almanac. It does not require an account, does not ask for personal information, and does not sell or share any data with advertisers. The only data it collects is the minimum needed to deliver push notifications when the Toronto Blue Jays score and to diagnose crashes.

What we collect

Three categories of data, all anonymous:

What we do not collect

How push notifications work

You opt in once on the Schedule tab. The app registers your APNs token with our backend over HTTPS, authenticated with a per-install HMAC signature. When the Jays score during a live game, our backend checks the MLB Stats API, diffs the score, and asks Apple to deliver a notification to every opted-in device. We only ever see your anonymous UUID. Turn notifications off any time in iOS Settings → Notifications → Summer93.

Where the data lives

Data retention and deletion

To have your anonymous device identifier and APNs token removed now, email the address below with your device’s UUID (find it in Summer93 → Settings → About → Device ID). We remove it within 7 days. Data also auto-deletes when you uninstall — Apple tells our backend the token is dead and we drop the record, typically within 24 hours.

Children

Summer93 is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect data about anyone, including children under 13. Contact us to have a device’s anonymous identifiers removed.
